To drain fire and relieve dysphoria, clear heat and disinhibit urine, eliminate heat in blood, stanch bleeding.
Potential Indication
Acute icterohepatitis, febrile diseases, vexation, melancholia, restlessness, stagnation of damp-heat in liver and gall, fever, jaundice, short voidings of reddish urine, blood ejection, spontaneous external bleeding, dysentery with hematochezia and hematuria.
