Treatment of cough and expectoration due to heat in the lung, chronic cough, chronic dysentery of diarrhea, night sweating, hematochezia, hemorrhoidal bleeding, traumatic bleeding, abscess, sores and skin lesions with exudation, diabetes.
Potential Indication
1. Astringent, antidiarrheal, haemostatic and antibacterial.2. Acting as a detoxicating agent by combining with various ions of heavy metals, alkaloids or glycosides to form insoluble compounds.
