Patients Recovered from Covid-19 May Still Face Lasting Organ Damage

Research published Friday in a journal, "JAMA Cardiology", found that 4 out of 26 college athletes had signs of a heart condition called myocarditis after recovering from COVID-19.


Beginning of the year 2020, some evidence emerged from China that recovering from Covid19 did not mean a clean re-start; some long-lasting damages might stay. But, there is no enough data for the followup study to examine what those long-lasting damages are. Anecdotal information suggested that bone pain, reduced lung function, cognitive deterioration are directly related to Covid19 virus infection. Other long-lasting damages might be resulted from aggressive medical treatments, or the residual virus infection.
